The USA remains committed to the conception of the setting of the Donbas Conflict, implementing the Minsk Agreements. Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine claimed this during the briefing summarizing the results of the meeting with Donald Trump, the President of the USA that was aired by 112 Ukraine.

The president reminded that 3 years passed from the day when the cease-fire regime in Donbas was announced and the announcement of the peaceful shawl that became the basis of the Minsk Agreements.

‘It was noted that the US will support and remain committed to Minsk Agreement and I am sure that we should demand from Russia to completely fulfill the Minsk Agreements, security packet where it is fixed that the cease-fire regime will be implemented, the Russian artillery, tanks and the systems of the volley fire will be retired and the OSCE SMM will have the access to the whole territory, including the border. We discussed the steps that will be made before the visit of Trump to Europe’, Poroshenko said.

Also, he called the meeting with Trump to be detailed and full-rate.

Poroshenko pays the official visit to the USA on June 19-20.
