Ukrainian special service detains Donbas militants’ accomplice at airport

The officers of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained an accomplice of the militants of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” at the international airport Boryspil as the press service of the SBU reported.

 According to the message, a man was trying to leave Ukraine and fly to one of the Middle East countries but was intercepted by the SBU officers.

“Donetsk entrepreneur has established “the fruitful interaction” with the terrorists for the unhindered implementation of the vehicle transport between the checkpoints at the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region. He provided the cars for the transportations and fuel to the militants as “the gratitude”. Moreover he passed $317-475 to one of the MPs of the so-called “people’s council” of the “DPR” for the assistance to business,” the detention was explained.

Now, the detainee is served charges in the support of the terrorist activity. The investigative actions continue.

As we reported earlier the pro-Kremlin armed bandits launched an attack at Mayorsk checkpoint in Donetsk region; they opened fire at an armored car of the Ukrainian military.
