A subversive group of Russia-backed militants tried to break through the Ukrainian Army strongholds near Krymske, Luhansk region, as TSN informs.

The Ukrainian soldiers spotted the enemy’s activity and prevented the breach. The commander of the unit told that the militants used machine guns and 82-mm mortars, trying to hide the maneuver of the subversive group, but they were spotted.

“They use small groups, four-six people. When they are walking, usually someone’s covering them,” the soldiers told journalists. After the unsuccessful breach, the militants started attacking with mortars and grenade launchers.
