Ukrainian serviceman Serhiy Shershak died in the Donbas combat zone. Rivnenshchyna politychna reported this on Facebook.
The man was born in Tynne village of Rivenska region. He served in the 130th separate intelligence battalion. The soldier died from clot which threw during the service in the Joint Forces operation.
“During the war, you can die for a variety of reasons. The probability of perishing is thousand times higher than during a peaceful life. Maybe a sniper bullet, a mine, a hail... a heart, a thrombus, anything. Serhiy died because clot threw”, the report said.
The man was buried today, May 4, in a cemetery in his native village.
From the beginning of the day May 4th, the pro-Russian militants violated the ceasefire nine times and used weapons of prohibited calibers in Donbas conflict zone.
In the Luhansk sector, the militants fired at Ukrainian positions six times.
Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Pisky, Talakivka, and Lebedynske got under fire from grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms.
