Roman Savkov, a  soldier of the 92nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was released from the captivity of the pro-Russian militants. Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine reported this on Facebook.

Savkov will be examined by the doctors immediately after the release.

Roman Savkov was taken captive wounded near Krasnohorivka and was detained at the Makiivka prison camp. According to Iryna Gerashchenko, the representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbas, the soldier has diabetes and the militants restricted him from the medical service. The state of the health Roman significantly deteriorated as the result of this.
