Ukrainian soldier Pavlo Tykhonov died in Donbas while carrying out combat duties, as Donbas anti-terrorist operation body head in Kirovograd region Vadym Nikitin said.
The man died on June 17. Tykhonov with a nickname “151” was an intelligence commander of the 42nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion of the 57th Independent Motorized Infantry Brigade.
He was born in 1975 and lived in Kropyvnytsky. In 2014, he went off to the battlefront, and in autumn 2017 he suffered a concussion and broke his leg. Then Tykhonov was hospitalized, but then he came back to the front.
Tykhonov has a wife, son and daughter who became a serviceman.
