Ukrainian soldier Pavlo Bilyk from Tomashpil, Vinnytsia region, died in Joint Forces Operation from a sniper bullet, as Tomashpil united territorial community reports.

“Sorrowfully, we inform that on October 16, 2018, our compatriot, the resident of Tomashpol Pavlo Bilyk (July, 29, 1980 – October, 16, 2018) died. The soldier was fatally shot by a sniper,” the message says.

Reportedly, the militants opened fire at our positions 19 times, as the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation informs. Two Ukrainian soldiers died as a result, one more was wounded.

Earlier, a soldier from Cherkasy Anton Mospan was shot by a sniper in the area of Joint Forces Operation in Donbas.

According to the Chief Military Commissar of the region Yevhen Kurbeta, the Ukrainian serviceman was born in 1991.

Anton Mospan was a senior sergeant and served in 3029 military unit (9th Operational Regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine).
