A 47-year-old soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Kropyvnytsky was killed by an enemy's sniper in the Donbas Conflict zone on June 26 as Hrechka reported citing the representatives of Kropyvnytsky Regional Military Commissariat.
"Yesterday, on June 26, about 20:30 Ukrainian soldier Artur V. Fedosenko of the 1971 year of birth died not far from Mariinka, Donetsk region. He served at the A1469 military base. Preliminary, an enemy sniper shot him," the message said.
The farewell ceremony for killed soldier will take place on June 29 in Kropyvnytsky.
Earlier it was reported that on June 26, militants of illegal armed units in Donbas violated the ceasefire mode 30 times. In eleven cases, they used Minsk-banned weapons, including heavy mortars and artillery.
As it was reported earlier, as of Monday, 113 Ukrainian hostages remain in the captivity of Russian mercenaries in Donbas. Vasyl Hrytsak, the head of the SBU, Ukraine's state security service said that during the joint briefing in Kyiv on June 25.
Russian crimes related to violation of human rights were the topic of the briefing held in Kyiv on Monday afternoon.
