The Defense Ministry of Ukraine spoke of the state of health of the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wounded on July 15. Dmytro Hutsuliak, the spokesperson of the ministry claimed this as its press service reported.
“In the result of the combat actions on July 15, one our soldier was wounded. At the moment he is provided the qualified medical service in the military mobile hospital. His state of health is satisfactory,” he said.
On July 16, the militants launched an attack at Mayorsk checkpoint in Donetsk region; they opened fire at an armored car of the Ukrainian military.
According to the message, the incident took place at 6 a.m., when the checkpoint opened. 'A border guard unit took fire from the temporarily uncontrolled territory of Ukraine, as the staff moved to the outpost of Mayorsk checkpoint. Due to the attack, a 7.62-mm bullet hit the windshield of Cougar, the armored car of Ukrainian border guards', it says.
On July 14, pro-Russian militants shelled the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine five times; one soldier was injured. The enemy once used weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. Russian mercenaries opened fire from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns and small arms at positions of the joint forces in the areas of Krymske, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka. Attacking the defenders of Shyrokyne, the invaders used 120-mm mortar.
