Militants continued to shell Ukraine’s Armed Forces positions in ATO area, one Ukrainian soldier was injured. This was reported by the ATO press service speaker Yaroslav Chepurny on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.
“The situation remains tense. The enemy shelled our positions in Avdiivka, Vodyane and Shyrokyne at night. And, unfornunately, one Ukrainian soldier was injured,” he said.
Ukrainian soldiers adhere to the ceasefire regime and do not open fire in response, according to Chepurny.
The enemy attacked from small arms and large-caliber machine guns in the Mariupol direction, the head of the inter-departmental mobile group "Mariupol" Serhiy Zhmurko specified later.
"At the beginning of the day, the shooting subsided, and as of 8:00, militants shelled three times, twice in the Shyrokyne area from small arms, in the vicinity of Pavlopil - from small arms and large-caliber machine guns," he reported.
Earlier it was reported that militants shelled 29 times in Donbas, two soldiers were injured. Despite the provocations, Ukrainian officers adhere to ceasefire regime.
