Volodymyr Krupsky, the serviceman of the Ukrainian military passed away in the accident in the combat area in Donbas on January 10. The man suffered hypothermia, as his armored car fell in the water storage of a quarry. He died before the evacuation was complete.

Krupsky was the native of Hadyach, Poltava region, central Ukraine; Viktor Kalinichenko, another resident of the town posted this on Facebook.

'Sad news arrived in Hadyach. Our fellow townsman Volodymyr Krupsky passed away in the Joint Forces Operation zone. May his memory be blessed. Heroes never die!' he wrote.

This piece of information was confirmed by Eduard Borodai, the deputy chief military enlistment officer of Poltava region.  

Earlier, the Joint Forces HQ reported that the Ukrainian troops suffered no casualties over Thursday, January 10. The Russian mercenaries opened fire three times.
