One of the attacks of Russian occupants resulted in the death of a Ukrainian fighter. The name of the deceased serviceman was not disclosed.
Maksym Prauta, the spokesman of Ukraine's defense ministry reported this on a briefing on March 4.
'The life of a Ukrainian defender, born in 1999, was lost as a result of an enemy shelling. We express our deepest condolences to the family, those close ones and the brothers in arms of the perished hero', Prauta said.
In Luhansk region, the Russian mercenaries shelled the vicinities of Zaitsevo, using 120 mm mines.
In Lebedynske, Donetsk region, the enemy amassed fire from mortars, 122 mm artillery and the anti-tank missile system. In Vodyane, Ukrainian defenders took fire, as 120 mm mines landed in the area. 122 mm shells exploded in the area of Shyrokyne.
The occupant forces also attacked Pisky, where they opened fire from 82 mm mortars and heavy-caliber machineguns.
