A Ukrainian soldier died in the area of the Joint Forces operation in Donbas. At the moment, the circumstances of his death are being specified, according to the press service of the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration.
"Loss in Vinnytsia region: soldier Oleksiy Saenko died in the JFO zone," the message says.
So, it is reported that the soldier Oleksiy Saenko from Spodahy village (Vinnytsia region), born in 2000, died. He was called up for military service in June 2020, and later signed a contract.
"The circumstances of the death are being specified. The fighter has a father and mother, as well as a twin brother and sister," the message reads.
As we reported earlier, on April 2, pro-Kremlin illegal armed units shelled Ukrainian positions in Donbas 14 times.
As a result of enemy shelling, two Ukrainian soldiers were injured. The servicemen were promptly provided with the necessary medical assistance.
Also in the area of the village of Krasnohorivka, the enemy fired at civilian infrastructure, as a result of which one civilian received a shrapnel wound. The victim was taken to a medical facility.
