Ukrainian soldier, who was seriously injured near Shyrokyne, died in Dnipro hospital on August 12, as the doctor of Dnipro hospital named after Serhiy Mechnikov reported on Facebook.
“His soul was fighting for three days. He did not ask for help. The injury was incompatible with life. His brain was destroyed, total ischemia, a skull was bust. According to Ryahenko, Dmytro’s heart had stopped three times, but the resuscitators managed to deal with that.
Dmytro Dashkovets served in the 95th detached commando squad. In 2004-2005, he served in peacekeeping forces in Iraq. He was born in Miropol, Zhytomyr region. He had a wife and child.
On August 9 he was injured and evacuated to Dnipro. He was in a coma.
