Ukrainian soldier died in Donbas conflict zone

The pro-Russian militants violated the ceasefire regime eight times during past 24 hours

Soldier Mykola Rudnyk died in Donbas, in Joint Forces Operation (JFO) zone on February 4, as the Soldiers Union of Kamianka-Buzka district reported on Facebook.

“Sad news was received from the front line. On February 4, a citizen of Batiatychy village, Kamianka-Buzka district Rudnyk A. Mykola died in the JFO zone. Mykola loved Ukraine above all. He was a member of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists (Ukraine's far-right organization, - ed.),” the message said.

The condolences expressed to the family of the deceased.

As we reported over the past 24 hours the militants opened fire eight times in Donbas combat zone, one Ukrainian soldier died, another one sustained injuries.

Besides, Ukrainian serviceman of Mykolaiv 79th air assault brigade, who went missing in Donbas near Pavlopil on January 23, was captured by the Russian-occupation troops.

On February 5, the law enforcers detained a militant of an illegal armed formation “Luhansk People’s Republic”. For now, the detainee is under investigation.
