The Ukrainian side of the Trilateral Contact Group is outraged by the latest case of the assault at the OSCE SMM patrol that took place on June, 20 in Yasynuvata. Darka Olifer, the press secretary of Leonid Kuchma, the representer of Ukraine in the group reported at Facebook.
‘We strongly condemn this attempt to intimidate the workers of the OSCE SMM, we demand to find and punish the guilty. More violence and threats towards OSCE workers take place on the temporary uncontrolled territories of Luhansk and Donetsk Regions. The serious incidents connected with the security of OSCE SMM take place every third day since April 23, 2017, when the OSCE observer tragically died on the territory of temporary uncontrolled Luhansk Region’, she wrote.
The Russia-backed militants attempted to shatter the window of the OSCE’s auto by stock. Also, they tried to hinder observers’ activities or make them leave the place of their duties. They pointed their guns at them and made several shots in the air.
