Ukrainian serviceman dies in Donbas conflict zone

Ukrainian soldier Vladyslav Loktionov died in Joint Forces Operation zone, as the department of veterans’ social protection of Dnipro City Council reported.

The man died on July 7 because of shrapnel wounds. He served in the 92nd Detached Mechanized Brigade, he also was a soldier of grenade launcher platoon.

A 42-year-old serviceman was born in Dnipro. He went off to the battlefront in 2015 where he was captured later. The occupants kept him for a year and seven months, and on December 27, 2017, he was released.

After the captivity, the man realized that he had to be on the front, so he returned to the service in May this year.

He has a mother and son at home.
