Ukrainian scouts who were accused by terrorist "LPR" of killing "people’s militia commander" today, had been actually gone missing in Luhansk region in February 2017 and are now held in militants’ captivity. This was reported in the statement by Special Operations Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

After Ukrainian scouts went missing, the representatives of Ukrainian Armed Forces took measures to establish the location of the soldiers, however they did not manage to find them. However, the video published by militants today provided an opportunity to witness that Ukrainian officers are safe and are now in captivity of Russia-backed terrorist forces, according to the message.

The command also noted that Russian security services and militants treat prisoners as usual: use physical torture and psychological pressure, making them to admit to things that never actually happened.

Ukrainian Armed Forces will initiate the appeal to international human rights organizations including Joint Coordination and Control Center, OSCE SMM and others, asking to provide human treatment towards Ukrainian warriors and let them return home soon.

As it was reported, the so-called "LPR" militants accused Ukrainian special forces soldiers of murdering Anashchenko.
