On January 27, Ukrainian intelligence officers captured a representative of armed Russian formations. A military ticket from the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) was seized from him, according to the Facebook page of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO).
It is noted that the detainee was born in 1991. He said that he "acted as part of a secret subversive group" that aimed to expose JFO's positions, firing points, and observation posts.
The saboteur exploded on a mine, which was installed by the militants. He received mine-and-explosive wounds, and his associates did not save him.
Instead, the Joint Forces’ military servicemen provided him with the necessary assistance, and he was hospitalized.
"He is currently under the supervision of doctors and is testifying about the criminal activities of the Russian occupation administration," the report said.
As we reported earlier, Ukraine is negotiating on the release of Ukrainians, detained in Russia and the temporarily occupied territory. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in a commentary to the media in Jerusalem, the press service of President’s Office informed.
"Two tracks, two lists. We have agreed on the list in Minsk, we will supplement the list of established persons. We will prepare this track - the exchange with the temporarily occupied territories. And a separate track - we have already started a conversation with the Russian Federation about the exchange of Ukrainians - all, including the Crimean Tatars, and other Ukrainians who are in the territory of Russia," Zelensky said.
