Ukrainian citizen Natalia Stetsenko, the illegally detained inmate of Donetsk remand centre is in critical condition. The lady suffers from chronical disease of her spine, and she needs immediate treatment. Lyudmyla Denisova, the Ukraininan parliamentary ombudsman reported that on Telegram.
Denisova appealed to the managers of International Committee of the Red Cross, asking to contribute to Stetsenko's immediate hospitalization and provide her with qualified medical assistance. The ombudsman also insists that the prisoner gets released, as her health deteriorates.
"Natalia Stetsenko was born in Donetsk. She was captured by local militants on July 10, 2019. For the first three months, she was kept in "isolation", in the secret jail of the so-called Ministry of State Security of Donetsk People's Republic", and then, they took her to Donetsk remand centre No.5. She has not seen her family ever since. According to what her father heard from former hostages, Natalia endures psychological pressure, which is why she's depressed", Denisova said.
The militants accuse Natalia of "espionage in favor of Ukraine" and pro-Ukrainian activity.
