Ukraine’s Parliament adopted a law on access of units of foreign armed forces to the territory of Ukraine in 2019 for participating in multinational drills. 263 MPs out of 450 supported bill No. 10067 on February 26, 2019.

Thus the Verkhovna Rada approved the decision of the President of Ukraine to allow foreign military personnel to the territory of Ukraine for Rapid Trident-2019 Ukrainian-American drills, Sea Breeze 2019 Ukrainian-American drills, the Ukrainian Romanian drills Riverain-2019, multinational drills Maple Arch-2019, and Ukrainian British drills Warrior Watcher-2019.

Ukrainian ruled to allow access to the territory of Ukraine for the following states:

The U.S.A., other NATO member states and Partnership for Peace member states (up to 3000 military men with arms and military equipment, up to six jets and helicopters) for up to 365 days in January – December 2019 in the frameworks of multinational drills on armed forces training;

The U.S.A., other NATO member states and Partnership for Peace member states (up to 2000 military men with arms and military equipment, up to 13 jets and helicopters) for up to 25 days in June – October 2019 in the frameworks of Rapid Trident-2019 Ukrainian-American drills;

The U.S.A., other NATO member states and Partnership for Peace member states (up to 2000 military men with arms and military equipment), up to 15 ships (motor boats and combat vessels), up to two submarines, up to 16 jets and helicopters, up to 60 units of wheel-mounted equipment) for up to 20 days in June – September 2019 in the frameworks of Sea Breeze 2019 Ukrainian-American drills;

Romania (up to 200 military men with arms and military equipment, up to 9 ships (motor boats and combat vessels) for up to 10 days in April – November 2019 in the frameworks of the Ukrainian Romanian drills Riverain-2019;

The U.S.A., other NATO member states and Partnership for Peace member states (up to 350 military men with arms and military equipment), for up to 14 days in July – December 2019 in the frameworks of multinational drills Maple Arch-2019;

The United Kingdom and Northern Ireland (up to 300 military men with arms and military equipment) for up to 16 days in August – October 2019 in the frameworks of Warrior Watcher-2019.

The law comes into force since the day of its official publication in the Uriadovy Kurier, the official outlet of the Ukrainian Cabinet.
