Ukrainian paratroopers to conduct drills near administrative border with occupied Crimea

In March, Ukraine's airborne troops will hold military drills near the adminsitrative border with temporarily occupied Crimea. Joint Forces Commander, Lt. Gen. Serhiy Nayev said so as quoted by Ukrinform.

"A complex of combat training is planned by the command of Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the group of forces whose units keep positions in the southern direction - every month and in March, specifically. First of all, the units are supposed to improve their ability to show timely and adequare response to danger from the air and the sea coast", Nayev said.

According to him, the paratroopers will conduct a lot of measures to seek and destroy enemy airborne force on various altitudes and sections of landscape. The troops will march to designated areas and try to prevent a hostile naval beach group from landing or destroy it.
