The Ukrainian forces deployed in Donbas managed to shoot down the strike drone of the Russian occupants. The press office of the Joint Forces Operation HQ posted this on Facebook.

The enemy tried to use the UAV to inflict damage on Ukrainian servicemen, but the troops used electronic warfare devices on it and opened fire from small arms, which wrecked the drone.

'The hostile troops once again witnessed the effectiveness of the AA defense systems in this area', the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation added.

It's been the third time this week that the Ukrainian forces down an enemy UAV in Donbas. Previously, the servicemen managed to destroy the Phantom-4 type UAV in the Mariupol sector, as the enemy used it for reconnaissance. After that, another drone was downed in the vicinities of Avdiivka, as the illegal armed units tried to detect the Ukrainian military's positions.
