Two militants were eliminated in clash

Ukrainian military officers neutralized reconnaissance and sabotage enemy group in Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) zone. This was reported by ATO HQ on Facebook.

"Military officers of Ukrainian Armed Forces, who are carrying out tasks in Anti-Terrorist Operation zone on the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, have neutralized enemy diversion intelligence group," the message reads.

At the same time, it is noted that four militants were apprehended as a result, two more — commander and one of the saboteurs, who were strongly resisting, have been eliminated.

"Killed group commander was the citizen of Russian Federation, born in Kirov. Another Russian representative from Altai was identified among captured," the statement says.

It was added that investigative actions have been started. Military prosecution carries out procedural direction.
