Ukrainian consul will visit Pavlo Gryb, who is in the Krasnodar prison today. This was reported on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel by Igor Grib, a father of the missing Ukrainian.
"More than two or three weeks have already passed, and the consuls have not been allowed to meet with Pavlo, despite interstate agreements. Today, it seems the Russian side promised to let our consuls to see him. I'm expecting information from Russia," he said.
Also, Igor Gryb noted that there are yet no details about the state of health of his son.
"We do not know anything about his condition. On Friday, as we know, they took him to a medical institution, what they did to him, we do not know, unfortunately," the father commented.
Asked about what Pavlo is currently suspected in, Igor Gryb said:
"I talked with a lawyer and he also does not know the essence of charges. As to what my son might be accused of, it's Article 205, part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (terrorist act), 12-15 years of prison can be set by this article. There are no grounds, this is all fabricated, and it is rigged by certain special services of the Russian Federation. Our task now is to return him to Ukraine as quickly as possible."
Also, Igor Igor did not exclude the possibility that his son "may be exchanged between Ukraine and Russia."
As it was reported earlier 19-years old citizen of Ukraine Pavlo Gryb who disappeared in Gomel, Belarus on August 24 was found in Krasnodar prison, Russia.
His father, the officer of the Border Guard Service of Ukraine Igor Gryb published in Facebook that his son 19-years old Pavlo Gryb got lost in Belarus on August 24. His son went to Gomel to meet a girl with whom he got acquainted and communicated in the social networks.
He supposed that 'the Russian FSB lured out Pavlo to Gomel under the pretence of the meeting with a girl and then detained him'.
The lawer said that Gryb was arrested in Russia in absentia. The lawyer of the Ukrainian Andrey Sabinin said he didn’t have any new information on Pavlo Gryb, because he only saw him once, though, he is allowed to see the prisoner.
