Ukrainian combat engineers defuse explosive under Siversky Donetsk-Donbas water pipeline

Demolitions experts of Ukraine's Armed Forces found and disarmed the explosive, which was put under the Siversky Donetsk-Donbas water pipeline. 

According to the HQ of the Joint Forces Operation, the operation was performed by combat engineers from one of the units of Centre for Mine Clearing of the Joint Forces Operation.

'As the area adjusting to the engagement line was explored, the military detected and defused the home-made explosive devices out under the Siversky Donetsk-Donbas water pipeline', the message said.

The pipeline provides water supplies to almost a half of Donetsk region's population, including Toretsk, Horlivka, Donetsk and many other cities and towns.

Earlier, the HQ of the Airborne Assault Forces of Ukraine's Armed Forces reported that two servicemen from a Detached Airborne Assault Brigade of Ukraine lost their lives in the combat area in Donbas. 'One of them deceased due to the gunfire, while the other died of a heart attack', reads the message.
