Ivan Bezyazykov is suspected of collaboration with so-called Donetsk Peoples’ Republic

The military intelligence operative of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ivan Bezyazykov was detained on suspicion of collaboration with so-called Donetsk Peoples’ Republic, after being freed from the militants’ captivity in July. This as announced by his wife Margaryta Kushnirova, reported by Hromadske.

According to Kushnirova, four men in civil cloths came to their place, produce a search warrant stating that Bezyazykov is suspected of collaboration with so-called Donetsk Peoples’ Republic.

“While in captivity of the illegal organization “DNR”, Bezyazykov entered the organization and performed the duties of the deputy of the first department of intelligence,” – the search warrant reads.

It is also reported that some appliances were seized during the search – PCs, tablets, flash drives, photo cameras and cell phones from the house of Bezyazykov.

Now the colonel is in pretrial detention center, a state attorney is provided.

The bail hearing is to be held today at 13:00. Meanwhile, Bezyazykov is detained for 72 hours.
