One Ukrainian serviceman was killed in action in Donbas on November 4. Three fighters sustained light injuries, and one more is in a moderate condition. Besides, three Russian militants were killed in combat, while another four were wounded. Oleksandr Motuzyanyk, spokesman of Ukraine's defense ministry, reported that during the daily briefing in Kyiv.
The wounded were taken to hospitals, he said.
According to Motuzyanyk, over the past 24 hours, Russian mercenaries opened fire on Ukrainian positions 18 times. In particular, 68 mines of various calibers hit the outposts across combat area.
In general, the enemy used small arms, heavy-caliber machine guns, grenade launchers, IFV armament, and mortars of various calibers. The militants attacked Krymske, Novotoshkivske, Zolote, Avdiivka, Novotroitske, Pavlopil, Vodyane, Hnutove, and Lebedynske. Intense mortar fire was observed in Zolote, Luhansk region; five attacks were reported over 24 hours.
Since Monday morning, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions twice; the government troops took no casualties.
