Ukraine’s Defense Ministry confirm yesterday’s assault on the OSCE SMM observers in Yasynuvata by the members of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic”,” - Anton Myronovysh, the ATO HQ press officer, reported that on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

“This happened near the Yasynuvata, which is now controlled by the militants of the illegal armed groups, at around 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20. The observers were carrying out their direct responsibilities in monitoring the situation at the line of demarcation," Myronovych said.

According to him two militants in masks came up to them without specifying the aim, they tried to hinder their activities or make the observers leave the place of their duties. They pointed their guns on them, and made several shot in the air.

Apart from that he announced that the militants do not stop firing since evening, the (Ukrainian, - ed.) military men expect more extensive armed provocations today.
