A small arms fire incident occurred on the Ukraine-Russia state border on Thursday afternoon. The press center for counter-terrorism operation HQ reported that.

'At about 12.30 p.m., someone opened fire from Ushakovka in Russia. It was a provocative attack, which involved the small arms fire; the targets were the Ukrainian servicemen who protect the country's state border. No victims reported. The servicemen never returned fire', the message said.

The counter-terrorism operation HQ added this was a rude violation of the state border safety - not to mention the attack on the Ukrainian servicemen.
