Workers of the Kramatorsk unit of Ukraine's State Border Guard found a stash with ammunition in Donetsk region. Press office of the Border Guard reported that on January 20.
The cache was located in the settlement of Tonenke, Donetsk region. Two RGD-5 grenades, a SM-320 signal mine, 42 rounds of 7.62 mm, two flares and one round for an anti-aircraft gun.
The local branch of the National Police will look into the case, qualifying it as weapons misconduct.
The ammunition was seized by the staff of Ukraine's State Emergency Service. The culprits are being identified.
Last year, Border Guard units from the Joint Forces detected more than 20,000 pieces of ammunition, 46 firearms and more than 17 kilograms of explosives.
