Ukrainian servicemen in Donbas captured one militant of the illegal armed formations, as the Joint Forces Operation HQ reported.

“The group of the Special operation forces, which is a part of the Joint Forces, took captive a Russian militant today, on February 18. The combatants, who acted on the defense line of one of the brigades in the south direction noticed moving of the enemy’s diversion intelligence groups towards our posts. After a short fight, the enemy retreated. Four saboteurs were eliminated, one captured. The hostage is being interviewed now,” the message says.

As it was reported, today, on February 18, Ukrainian military captured a fighter of the illegal armed formations in Donbas combat zone. The Ukrainian fighters managed to spot the enemy just in time. The enemy assault was repelled, and one of the occupants was captured. He is currently interviewed by the Joint Forces Operation units. 

As of Monday, February 18, there have been 41 Ukrainian army fighters held in captivity of the Russian terrorists in Donbas. Three servicemen have been captured since the beginning of 2019; over the entire 2018, the enemy captured four Ukrainian defenders.
