Head of the Ukrainian delegation at the Trilateral Contact Group Leonid Kravchuk urged the Russian Federation and occupation authorities of Donbas to unblock the process of the mutual release of prisoners as the President’s Office reported.
“Head of the Ukrainian delegation at the Trilateral Contact Group Leonid Kravchuk urged Russia and occupation authorities from temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions to unblock the process of the mutual release of detained people,” the message said.
Besides, the representatives of Ukraine insisted on the confirmation of people from the list on the mutual release that was handed over in July.
Moreover, Special Representative of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office in Ukraine and the Trilateral Contact Group Heidi Grau appealed with a request to accelerate the process as while the talks are held, people continue to stay in imprisonment and it is inhumane.
As we reported, the sides at the Trilateral Contact Group agree to open two checkpoints – Zolote and Shchastya –on November 10 in Donbas.
