Ukraine will rebuild destroyed airport in Donetsk, as President Poroshenko wrote on wrote on Twitter.

“We would restore Donetsk airport, there would always be a Ukrainian flag over its control tower, the flag which the “cyborgs” were raising again and again under the bullets and shells. The airport would be even better than before; it would be modernized. Imperishable memory to our fallen heroes! Glory to the defenders of Donetsk airport!” Poroshenko noted.

The battle for Donetsk airport began in May 2014 and lasted until January 2015. The Ukrainian military - the army, the National Guard, the Security Service, military volunteers - have been courageously defending their positions for 242 consecutive days, enduring the deadly attacks of pro-Kremlin militants and regular Russian troops. Some of the Russian troops, surprised by the fortitude of the Ukrainian fighters called them 'cyborgs'.

Yes and If I remember the result the cyborgs were all killed and the airport captured. Or does Ukraine now include this battle in its 'Alternative History , known as an exploration of the counter factual.
