Ukraine to not recognize diploma from occupied Donbas

Ukraine will not recognize the documents on the higher education issued at the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas and Luhansk regions even in the case of the holding of the additional examination. Georgy Tuka, the Deputy Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories and IDPs reported this at Facebook.

According to him, the international humanitarian organization raised this issue on the recognition of the diploma on the higher education issued in occupied Donbas for many times during the meetings. However, they got the negative response from Ukraine.

'The issue of the possible recognition of the diploma after the holding of the additional examination was raised during the second meeting. We answered 'no'', Tuka wrote.

The official reminded that the special terms were created for the youth from the temporarily occupied territories to get the higher education at the territory under control of Ukraine.

As it is known, the majority of the universities situated in the occupied territories of Donbas moved to the territory controlled by Ukraine after the beginning of the Russian aggression. However, the militants created the so-called universities on the basis of the already existed at the occupied territories and issue the document on the higher education.
