Ukraine will never refuse from the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and Crimea. Arsen Avakov, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine claimed this at the National Expert Forum broadcasted by 112 Ukraine.

'The occupied territories are not only Donbas but also Crimea. The philosophy that Russia will offer us sooner or later is that: take your Donbas but sign that you refuse from Crimea. It is not acceptable. Ukraine will never refuse neither from Donbas or Crimea', he said.

Viktor Kononenko, the Deputy Chairman of the SBU also revealed the terms of the legitimate election in occupied Donbas.

'The election in Donbas will be possible only after the restoration of all Ukrainian institutions. When all institutions will be restored and will work then we can talk about the election. The election was considered by Russia many times but it refused from it due to the fact that nobody will recognize it because the governments of the self-proclaimed republic are also not recognized in the world', he said.

Avakov also emphasized that it will be impossible to hold the election during the next 5-7 years after the release of Donbas.

'It is the international practice and it is normal. The people should adapt to the changes. Talking about the local government, I insist that the election should be held and I am indifferent to the attitude of these people. They will be pro-Russian in some period of time but their function will not be political but the providing of the life quality', he noted.
