Ukraine will hand over 15 people to militants after the completion of legal procedures. This was reported by Ukrainian News referring to the Adviser to the Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Yuriy Tandit.
"The legal procedures are being completed at the moment," he said.
According to the report, the transfer of 15 people to certain areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions were planned for December 21, but the procedure was delayed. At the same time Tandit cannot predict when the legal procedures on the release and transfer of the convicted militant’s accomplices will be completed.
However, the Security Advisor stressed that the agreement on the transfer was not disrupted, as there is a principled position of the President of Ukraine on this issue.
Earlier it was reported that "DPR" refused to release hostages in response to Ukrainian goodwill gesture. However, "DPR" is ready to take 15 hostages from Ukraine unilaterally.
