Ukraine raises issue of demilitarization of Debaltseve at Minsk Talks

The Ukrainian side raised the issue within the subgroup of security of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) concerning the return to the line of the demarcation set by the Memorandum of September 19, 2014 and the withdrawal of the Russia-backed militants' forces from occupied Debaltseve. The speaker of the representative of Ukraine in TCG Leonid Kuchma Darka Olifer reported this at Facebook.

According to the official data, 136 militaries of the Armed Forced of Ukraine died and 331 militaries got injured during the defense time of Debaltseve. At this period of time, 110 militaries died, 270 got injured, seven were captured and 18 gone missing at the fierce fightings since January 15 until February 18, 2015.

The withdrawal of the armed forces from the lodgment took place on 16-18 February, 2015.
