The Ukrainian side supports the appeal of the advisers of the Normandy Format leaders to the representatives of the Trilateral Contact Group on the improvement of a coordination mechanism for response to violations of ceasefire regime as Head of President’s Office Andriy Yermak reported.
According to Yermak, the Ukrainian side has many offers on the improvement of the functioning of the ceasefire regime, particularly, toward stricter responsibility for sniper attacks.
Moreover, in case of fatal cases as a result of attacks, the safety group of the Trilateral Contact Group should gather within 24 hours and it is banned to refuse from the meeting.
Proper offers of the Ukrainian side will be formed and provided to the Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine Yaşar Halit Çevik.
Advisers of the leaders of Ukraine, France, Germany, and Russia have also agreed to continue the work on the agreement of the clusters for the fulfillment of the Minsk Agreement for a peace settlement in Donbas.
As we reported, President of France Emmanuel Macron said that France, Ukraine and Germany are ready to find a political solution to resolve the conflict in Donbas.
