The losses Ukraine suffered due to the occupation of Donbas make up more than 50 billion dollars. This was stated by the president’s representative to the parliament, Petro Poroshenko Bloc Party MP Iryna Lutsenko during the conciliation board on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"As for today, losses calculated from the Donbas occupation reach more than 50 billion US dollars," Lutsenko said.

She noted this, commenting the bill on thereintegration of Donbas.

"The law is critically unprofitable for Moscow, because it confirms at the legislative level that Russia is an occupier and an aggressor responsible for the rights violations of citizens in the occupied territory of Ukraine. It also states that Russia is responsible for the economic damage to certain areas of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, Ukraine and its economy in general, "she reminded.
