Ukraine is preparing for the next withdrawal of troops in four directions and the opening of two checkpoints on the contact line by November 10. Oleksiy Reznikov, Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine stated this, Ukrinform reports.
It is planned to open the checkpoint in the settlements of Schastye and Zolote.
"Today we are preparing for the opening - I hope, by November 10 - two new checkpoints in the settlements of Happiness and Zolote, which was discussed in Paris," Reznikov noted.
As of today, the locations of four more points of possible disengagement of forces and equipment, as well as about 19 new locations regarding possible humanitarian demining, have already been identified. However, the final point on these issues has not been set.
"The Minsk process is somewhat blocked because of the position of the Russian Federation and their "proxies ", which represent the occupation regimes in Donetsk and Lugansk," Reznikov noted.
It should be noted that the Zolote checkpoint, the only automobile crossing point of the demarcation line in the Luhansk region, was closed in 2016. Now in the Luhansk region, only one checkpoint is open in Stanytsia Luhanska.
