Kalmiuske, Novoazovsk, Sakhanka and Kumachovo, the settlements in the Donbas combat area should be demilitarized. The Ukrainian side in the Minsk tripartite group claimed this, referring to Darka Olifer, the press secretary of ex-president Leonid Kuchma.
The spokeswoman said that heavy weaponry and vehicles should be withdrawn from these areas. According to her, the illegal armed formations of the Russian Federation have been breaching Minks agreements, holding their tanks and mortars along the division line. Besides, the movement of OSCE SMM patrols is hindered by the pro-Kremlin militants, which is also a direct violation of Minsk agreements.
As is known, the procedure of division of troops in Donbas was supposed to begin on October 1. However, Russian mercenaries have been systematically breaching the ceasefire, preventing the disengagement.
