Ukraine's Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov exchanged data with intelligence services of Great Britain and the USA about the risks of the buildup of Russian troops around Ukraine. Press office of Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that on November 24.
"I had two important meetings with Minister of Defense of Great Britain Ben Wallace and U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. We had serious talks where we clearly compared the facts received by our and their intelligence services. We exchanged information among our intelligence agencies, and the conclusions are the same. The risk level is clear to us", Reznikov said.
According to the Minister, he received very important signals from partners that Ukraine is not going to be left alone in the face of the threat. The U.S. and Britain began serious consultations with other NATO member states.
"The reaction will be quite tough - and as far as I know, the leader of the Kremlin was warned about it during the recent visit of a high-level U.S. official in Russia", Reznikov added.
The Ukrainian minister claims that Kyiv expects more assistance from three countries in the view of possible Russian military invasion - not merely "quotes about concerns or worries".
