Ukraine demands the release of 107 hostages, who are illegally held in uncontrolled part of the Donbas region. Darka Olifer, the press secretary of the representative of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma wrote this on Facebook after a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk.

"With great difficulty we continue to work to free the hostages. Donetsk and Luhansk representatives did not give any information on the whereabouts of many of our people for a long time. Previously, they claimed that they have only 21 people. Today they acknowledged us that there are 45 hostages in Donbas region. We demand to release 107 illegally detained persons. We also insist on the full involvement of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the process of releasing people. We are talking about the admission of the ICRC experts to the hostages, and the information of their location", noted Olifer.
