Ukrainian Foreign Ministry condemned the limitations and provocations committed by Russia and its occupant forces against the OSCE monitors, specifically the attack on the monitors that occurred in Donbas on October 10. This is mentioned in the Ministry's statement on the website.
'The Kremlin tries avoiding the responsibility for fueling the conflict and blocking the compliance with Minsk agreements,' reads the message.
The Ministry is especially concerned about the hostile treatment of Russian occupant forces of the SMM monitors, which was accompanied by threats and use of weapons.
'In full support of the SMM, we once again demand that Russia stop intimidating SMM observes, drop the closed-area practice for the OSCE monitoring and guarantee a free access of OSCE SMM to the entire occupied territory of Ukraine, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol,' the statement says.
On October 10, pro-Kremlin militants attacked the SMM patrol near Donetsk water filtration plant. On the same day, four Ukrainian servicemen deceased in the combat zone.
