It is noted that on April 5, the Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC) sent a note to the OSCE SMM in Ukraine regarding the intentions of the occupation administration to falsify the events in Oleksandrivske village of Donetsk region of Ukraine.
"... Recently, information about the death of a five-year-old child and an elderly woman in a private household located in the village of Oleksandrivske allegedly as a result of the detonation of an explosive device dropped by an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Armed Forces, has been actively spreading in the information space of ORDLO and the Russian Federation," the document says.
In addition, it is reported that the Russian side has not provided any evidence (photo/video materials, fragments of an explosive device, exact coordinates, time and place of the event; personal information about the victims, the nature of the injuries received, etc.) about the Ukrainian side's involvement in the incident.
Given the considerable remoteness of Oleksandrivske village from the line of contact of the parties, which casts doubt on the possibility of using a UAV at such a distance, and also taking into account the groundlessness of the accusation, the Ukrainian side firmly denies its involvement in the incident.
“Considering the above-mentioned, the Ukrainian side of the JCCC asks the Mission to carefully check this information in order to establish the truth and inform about the results the Ukrainian side," the TCG said.
Oleksandrivske of the Yenakiieve city council of Donetsk region is located on the territory temporarily not controlled by the government of Ukraine. The distance of the indicated settlement from the contact line of the parties is about 15 km.
Earlier, it was reported that Ukraine initiates an urgent extraordinary meeting of Trilateral Contact Group.
