The UK Embassy in Ukraine welcomed the exchange of the prisoners that took place in Donbas on December 27th on Twitter.
According to the Embassy, the release of the prisoners is a commitment which Ukraine, Russia and the Russian-backed separatists signed up to as part of the Minsk Agreements to resolve the conflict in Eastern Ukraine.

As we reported the exchange of the prisoners took place in Donbas on December 27th and 73 Ukrainians were released.
Earlier the SBU reported that 103 people remain detained in the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and dozens of them are in Russia.
Earlier, the President Poroshenko specified that not a single citizen of Russian Federation was extradited during the exchange of prisoners with the "authorities" of Donbas occupied territories.
Moreover, Ukraine began new negotiations with the pro-Russian militants on the new stage of the prisoners' exchange on December 28th.
