BSC Young Boys defeated their opponents from Ukraine

The Swiss team outplayed the Mountaineers after the penalty series, as the aggregate in the two legs of the fixture made a 2-2 tie (Shakhtar won the first game 2-0, and Young Boys repeated the opponent’s success in the second).

Shakhtar allowed two goals in six minutes in the second half, which made the aggregate score 2-2. Then, the teams made in to the penalty series, where Young Boys won 4-2. Shakhtar’s Fred and Rakytsky failed to score, thus allowing their opponents to qualify for the UEFA Champions League’s group stage.
