UA|TV begins broadcasting in occupied Luhansk region

UA|TV channel has begun the broadcasting in the occupied territories of Luhansk region as the press service of the Information Policy Ministry of Ukraine reported.

The broadcasting takes place in the test mode from the TV tower in Bakhmutivka, Luhansk region. It is held at 40th TV channel with the capacity of 1, 2 kW in DVB-T2 digital format.

‘We are glad to report on one more step for the provision of the full-fledged broadcasting of UA|TV in occupied Crimea and Donbas’, Deputy Information Policy Minister Yury Stets said.

UA|TV channel has begun to work on October 1, 2015, upon an initiative of the Information Policy Ministry. It broadcasts the news and programs of its own production through the satellite and cable networks in five languages – Ukrainian, Russian, English, Arabian and Crimean Tatar.
