On December 15, Russian militants attacked Ukrainian positions in Donbas on seven occasions. They did not use the weaponry of banned calibers. The Joint Forces Operation HQ reported that on Monday, December 16.
Mercenaries opened fire in Donetsk region once; they used mounted and man-portable grenade launchers, small arms and heavy machine guns in Lebedynske.
Illegal armed gangs opened fire in Luhansk region, too. Russia-backed fighters used grenade launchers, small arms and heavy machine guns to attack Khutir Vilny, Svitlodarsk, Luhanske and Zaitsevo.
Two Ukrainian warriors were wounded in combat.
The OSCE reports 230 explosions in the Donetsk region.
"Most ceasefire violations were recorded in areas south-east of the village of Svitlodarsk, and most of the shellings were noticed in areas of the south-east and south-west of the Yasinovata village," the report said.
